The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a Yacht Manager to reinforce the EXMAR team in Antwerp, HQ.
Your role in the team
As a Yacht Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, and financial management and will act as key contact person internally and externally for all yacht related communication. You work under the
Head of Fleet Management Yachting.
Key Responsibilities:
- First line of response for technical matters, follow-up on all aspects of statutory compliance and classification of the vessel;
- Define and review yearly OPEX proposals and Drydock proposals and monitor Yacht Operating budget;
- Report to and keep Head of Fleet Management Yachting up to date regarding the ongoing business;
- Review annually the ship’s ISM in collaboration with HSEQ ad vessel staff.
- Coordinate with the Yacht Crewing Coordinator to ensure efficient and consistent crewing planning;
Requirements:
- Maritime Academy graduate or equivalent experience
- Experience on commercial yachts or commercial vessels.
- Extensive knowledge of Ship Management and administration, technical aspects of yachts (new build and maintenance), relevant yachting legislation.
- Good knowledge of navigation, insurance, accounting, yacht maintenance and upkeeping and budget management
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
