EXMAR has entered into shipbuilding contracts with Jiangnan Shipyard for 2 LPG-fuelled 86,000 m³ gas carriers to transport LPG in an environment-friendly way. Both vessels are to be delivered ex yard respectively within the second and third quarter 2021 and will serve EXMAR’s long-term commitments towards Equinor ASA of Norway for worldwide LPG transportation as announced on 20th December 2017.

EXMAR's barge-based floating liquefaction unit departs from China for its final destination one month after the announcement of the signing of a firm, ten-year agreement to produce and export LNG from the Vaca Muerta source at the Neuquén Basin in Argentina.

Exmar signed a 10-year agreement with YPF to deploy Exmar’s barge-based floating LNG liquefaction unit (FLNG) currently known as Caribbean FLNG to produce and export LNG in Argentina. The barge will be renamed TANGO FLNG will be stationed in Bahia Blanca and produce 500,000 tons of LNG per year.

EXMAR LPG is happy to announce that on this day, 24th of July 2017, the LPG Midsize gas tanker named KRUIBEKE was delivered and joined the EXMAR fleet.

EXMAR has taken delivery of the “Caribbean FLNG”, today 27 July 2017 in Nantong, PRC, from Wison (Nantong) Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. and Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd. The CFLNG consists of a 500,000 tons per year floating liquefaction plant with 16,000 m³ of LNG storage.

We are proud to announce that today March 28th 2017 the LPG midsize carrier KALLO was delivered to her Owners at Subic Bay, Philippines.

On 8th of November 2016, Midsize LPG Carrier KORTRIJK joined the Exmar LPG fleet. We are proud to announce that the vessel was delivered to Owners at HHIC-Phil Shipyard in Subic Bay, Philippines.

After completion of Gas Commissioning, the floating liquefaction unit Caribbean FLNG, has been performance-tested from 23 until 26 September 2016 at Wison’s shipyard in Nantong, China. The hourly production data collected during this 72-hour performance test show that the designed production capacity of the Caribbean FLNG has been confidently met. On 30th June the midsize LPG carrier KONTICH has been delivered from Hanjin Heavy Industries - Subic Bay Shipyard to EXMAR.

EXMAR took delivery of Midsize LPG/C vessel named KNOKKE. This vessel is number six in EXMAR's ongoing LPG vessel renewal and expansion program.

Progress continues on the renewal and expansion of the EXMAR LPG midsize with the naming of the Kaprijke. Following her delivery, EXMAR's midsize fleet will stand at 13 with another 2 under time charter and another 7 under construction.

EXMAR Offshore exercises purchase option on Otto 5 accommodation barge. Barge is renamed Wariboko and commences 2 year contract for TOTAL in Nigeria. EXMAR is specialised in owning, operating and managing accommodation barges, with Nunce (joint venture ownership) and Kissama (technical and crew management) operating off the coast of West Africa.

LPG Midsize LPG/NH3 - 38,000 m3 newbuild Warisoulx (sistership of Waasmunster) is an ultra-modern midsize LPG vessels delivered from Hanjin's Mipo shipyard in Ulsan in Korea. The vessels are capable of operating with alternative fuels and are equipped with a number of energy-saving innovations.

The Consortium (which comprises of EXMAR, EDF Trading and AltaGas) assumes control of Douglas Channel LNG project in British Columbia, with acquisition of all relevant contracts, assets and approvals. Final Investment Decision (FID) is expected by the end of the year. In the consortium, EXMAR is responsible for the development of thefloating liquefaction facility.

Waregem is the third in a series of twelve newbuild midsize 38,000m³ LPG carriers, and has been built at Hanjin's Mipo shipyard in Ulsan, South-Korea. As with her sisterships, the newbuild is equipped with a number of energy-saving innovations, and is capable of being powered by alternative fuels.

LLOG’s Delta House Floating production system is named in Ingleside, Texas and is successfully deployed in the GOM with EXMAR’s innovative OPTI™ Hull Design and FAST™ Riser pull-in method. Production on site commences in May 2015, just three years after project startup.

Generale Maatschappij van België sells its CMB shares to Almabo and its shipping company EXMAR. Under the leadership of the Saverys family, EXMAR executes a reverse takeover, making CMB the parent company of the shipping group, split into three subsidiaries: Bocimar (dry cargo), EXMAR (gas tankers) and Euronav (oil tankers).
