Head of Fleet Management Yachting (Antwerp, Belgium)

The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a Head of Fleet Management Yachting.

Your role in the team
The Head of Fleet Management Yachting will operate at a high strategic level, overseeing an entire fleet of yachts. You ensure that for all assets that are parts of the yachting cluster are managed to the highest standard in line with the company’s policies, local and international regulations and the terms and conditions agreed in the contract in order to reach client satisfaction and stimulate business growth.

Your responsibilities and tasks include:

• Drive business development, cost optimization, and efficiency improvements for the fleet;
• Act as key contact person internally and externally for all yachts;
• Oversee the Yacht Manager and monitor workload and individual efficiency;
• Monitor that customer expectations such as reporting requirements, KPI’s etc. are met and communicated in a timely manner to the Owner of the vessels in the fleet;
• Review the service and other agreements and discuss / re-negotiate when necessary;
• Periodic visits to the vessels to assess vessel condition and maintenance progress; including where appropriate, attendance prior to and during Flag State and Class surveys to assist the crew;


Your profile
• Maritime Academy graduate or equivalent experience on commercial yachts.
• Extensive knowledge of Yacht Management and administration, technical aspects of yachts (new build and maintenance), relevant yachting legislation.
• Good knowledge of navigation, insurance, accounting, sales, yacht charter industry and yacht sales brokerage.
• Knowledge of budget and people management
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
