Keel Laying for the First of Six Brand New 46,000m³ Midsize LPG/Ammonia Carriers

EXMAR is innovation! The keel has been laid for the first of six brand new 46,000m³ midsize LPG/ammonia carriers at HD Hyundai Mipo Co., Ltd. in South Korea.

The first two vessels in this series will be powered by LPG dual fuel engines, and the last four will be dual fuel Ammonia. These are the world’s first ships built to run on Ammonia, underlining our desire to take the lead in decarbonizing the shipping industry.
