The move to terminate the joint VLGC and midsize pools with BW Gas in September 2008 prepared the way for EXMAR to further grow its share of the global mid-size segment. The arrival of the first pressurised vessel MAGDALENA (3,500m3) in the series of 10 vessels ordered also marked the company’s further expansion into coastal LPG and petrochemical gas trading with these new vessel types.
