Mathieu Verly graduated at the Law Faculty of the University of Ghent in 2001. He obtained a Master of Law (LLM) degree in Maritime Law in 2002 from the University of London.
After having trained for three years with the Antwerp-based maritime law firm Kegels & Co, he was admitted to the Antwerp Bar in 2006. In March 2006 he joined EXMAR, as Legal Counsel.
In addition to this function, Mathieu Verly is Company Secretary since July 2015.
