The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a Project Engineer to reinforce the Finance team in Antwerp, HQ.

Your role in the team

As a Budget Controller, you will gather, interpret, analyze and report financial information in close consultation with all the operational departments in the business unit. He/she contributes to financial planning and control in the organization. The Budget Controller reports to the Business Unit Controller

Your responsibilities and tasks include

• Monthly Reporting & Ad Hoc Support: Support Accounts Payable in accurately processing expenses. Analyze monthly figures and report deviations from budget. Issue monthly reports and conduct quarterly OPEX reviews with Fleet Management.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budget process and upload final budget into the system. Prepare and upload quarterly forecast revisions after approval.
•  Internal Reporting: Issue reports for technical/crewing follow-ups and distribute to management. Gather quarterly KPI reports on vessel operating expenses.
• Monitoring: Monitor customer balances, cash flow, and supplier invoices. Ensure timely funding and settlement of open orders and accruals.

Your profile

• Master degree in Finance and Accounting.or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/controlling.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and PowerBI.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch
