Your role in the team
The Budget Controller gathers, interprets, analyses and reports financial information in close consultation with all the operational departments in the business unit. He/she contributes to financial planning and control in the organization. The Budget Controller reports to the Business Unit Controller

Your responsibilities and tasks include:

Monthly Reporting & Ad Hoc Support:
• Support Accounts Payable in accurately processing expenses.
• Analyze monthly figures and report deviations from budget.
• Issue monthly reports and conduct quarterly OPEX reviews with Fleet Management.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in the annual budget process and upload final budget into the system.
• Prepare and upload quarterly forecast revisions after approval.

Internal Reporting:
• Issue reports for technical/crewing follow-ups and distribute to management.
• Gather quarterly KPI reports on vessel operating expenses.

Monitoring:
• Monitor customer balances, cash flow, and supplier invoices.
• Ensure timely funding and settlement of open orders and accruals.

Your profile
• Master degree in Finance and Accounting.or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/controlling.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and PowerBI.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch
