{"id":8048,"date":"2025-05-08T14:05:29","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T14:05:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/?post_type=vacancies&#038;p=8048"},"modified":"2025-05-08T14:24:30","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T14:24:30","slug":"it-application-support-specialist-antwerp-belgium","status":"publish","type":"vacancies","link":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/en\/vacancies\/it-application-support-specialist-antwerp-belgium\/","title":{"rendered":"IT Application Support Specialist (Antwerp, Belgium)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The EXMAR Group is currently looking for an<strong> IT Application Support Specialist <\/strong>to reinforce the IT team in Antwerp, HQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your role in the team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a IT Application Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and expertise in order to support the desktop support engineers and end-users and assist with the implementation of applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application management including monitoring of application performance, maintenance and upgrades;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Database management including monitoring of the database environment and database maintenance. Also, providing assistance to the IT infrastructure team in order to plan the correct capacity when upgrading existing\/implementing new applications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advising the Applications Portfolio Coordinator and support the Desktop team in case of complex issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train end-users and the Desktop Support team in the use of specific applications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement and document changes approved by the Change Advisory Board and advise the Change Advisory Board in case changes to applications are required;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuous improvement and sharing knowledge amongst the IT team by documenting common application issues and their best practice solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor in IT or equivalent through experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in IT (Applications) Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are able to investigate and solve application issues independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extensive knowledge of MSSQL, NET and PowerShell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of Windows Server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in written and spoken English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Easy Apply: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re ready for a new challenge and want to be part of a dynamic, global company, we\u2019d love to hear from you!
