{"id":10750,"date":"2026-05-12T12:54:35","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T12:54:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/?post_type=vacancies&#038;p=10750"},"modified":"2026-05-12T12:54:36","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T12:54:36","slug":"fleet-personnel-officer-antwerp-belgium","status":"publish","type":"vacancies","link":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/en\/vacancies\/fleet-personnel-officer-antwerp-belgium\/","title":{"rendered":"Fleet Personnel Officer (Antwerp, Belgium)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a <strong>Fleet Personnel Officer<\/strong> to reinforce the Exmar Shipmanagement Infrastructure team in Antwerp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your role in the team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Fleet Personnel Officer<\/strong> takes care of the crew planning and makes sure that assets and vessels are equipped with skilled and certified seafarers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fleet Personnel Officer reports to the Head of Fleet Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities and tasks include<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide daily assistance to our vessels, ensuring smooth crewing operations and solutions for any challenges;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrange and manage timely crew changes, including travel, visas and logistics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure each crew member is fully compliant and certified before joining the vessel;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support induction, briefings and practical onboarding for new or promoted crew;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate crew records and contract details in our database;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle crew contracts, expenses and handle operational invoices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate crew planning for designated ranks and vessels;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in continuous improvement projects and support internal\/external audits;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with crew evaluations, training and provide support during emergencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Holds a bachelor\u2019s degree;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience in a similar role is not required, but considered a plus;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of STCW and other international rules and regulations related to crewing services is preferred;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong administrative skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to keep an overview, troubleshoot and work solution-driven in a dynamic, ever-changing environment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Takes ownership, makes decisions and acts proactively;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborates effectively with onboard crew to resolve crewing-related issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicates politely and empathetically with seafarers and their families;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English skills; French \/ Spanish are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our offer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At &nbsp;EXMAR you operate a very international, dynamic and, innovative environment.
