{"id":10351,"date":"2026-03-30T10:56:17","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T10:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/?post_type=vacancies&#038;p=10351"},"modified":"2026-03-30T16:49:04","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T16:49:04","slug":"technical-superintendent-yachting","status":"publish","type":"vacancies","link":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/en\/vacancies\/technical-superintendent-yachting\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical Superintendent Yachting (Antwerp, Belgium)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a Technical Superintendent Yachting to reinforce the EXMAR Shipmanagement team in Antwerp, HQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your role in the team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Technical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, and financial management and will act as key contact person internally and externally for all yacht related communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You work under the Head of Fleet Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities and tasks include<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First line of response for technical matters, follow-up on all aspects of statutory compliance and classification of the vessel;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Define and review yearly OPEX proposals and Drydock proposals and monitor Yacht Operating budget;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report to and keep Head of Fleet Management up to date regarding the ongoing business;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review annually the ship\u2019s ISM in collaboration with HSEQ ad vessel staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with the Yacht Crewing Coordinator to ensure efficient and consistent crewing planning;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maritime Academy graduate or equivalent experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience on commercial yachts or commercial vessels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extensive knowledge of Ship Management and administration, technical aspects of yachts (new build and maintenance), relevant yachting legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of navigation, insurance, accounting, yacht maintenance and upkeeping and budget managemen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in written and spoken English (Dutch is a plus).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our offer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At \u00a0EXMAR you operate in a very international, dynamic and, innovative environment.
