{"id":11293,"date":"2026-08-14T09:26:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T07:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/?post_type=vacancies&#038;p=11293"},"modified":"2026-08-14T09:26:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T07:26:00","slug":"fleet-personnel-coordinator-antwerp-belgium","status":"publish","type":"vacancies","link":"https:\/\/exmar.com\/en\/vacancies\/fleet-personnel-coordinator-antwerp-belgium\/","title":{"rendered":"Fleet Personnel Coordinator (Antwerp, Belgium)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a <strong>Fleet Personnel Coordinator<\/strong> to reinforce the EXMAR Shipmanagement Crewing team in Antwerp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your role in the team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fleet Personnel Coordinator takes care of the crewing aspects of a fleet team to ensure the vessels are manned with qualified and\u00a0 competent crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your responsibilities and tasks include<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate crew planning and ensure vessels are manned with qualified, experienced and medically fit crew, in line with company and regulatory requirements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify crew planning gaps and future needs; and coordinate recruitment, selection, promotion assessments, induction and onboarding of crew;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate crew rotations, crew changes and relief planning in close collaboration with vessels, internal teams and manning agencies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide operational support to vessels and Personnel Officers, including crew assistance, sick leave follow-up and emergency crewing duties;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate crew evaluations, debriefings, feedback and promotion processes, and follow up on identified training needs with the Training &amp; Development team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and implement crewing guidelines and policies, support audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee crew contracts, manage crew data and records, databases, leave administration and other crewing administration;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support crewing budget preparation and monitoring, including budget meetings and approval of crewing-related invoices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in audits, and provide support to vessel emergencies, shore response teams, and ensure timely communication and follow-up on crew welfare issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent through relevant work experience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 3 years of experience in <strong>crew or personnel planning<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with STCW certification is an advantage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly structured, organized, and detail-oriented work style;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; <strong>a true \u201cpeople person\u201d<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remains resilient and effective under pressure or in challenging situations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick to respond and able to make decisions independently;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flexible to occasionally work outside regular hours or weekends<\/strong> if required (e.g. urgent planning issues in different time zones);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in both written and spoken English; Dutch, French, Spanish are considered a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our offer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At &nbsp;EXMAR you operate a very international, dynamic and, innovative environment.
