EXMAR Group is seeking a Crewing Manager to join our team in Paris, France. In this role, you will ensure day to day crewing operations of the vessels and take care of all administration related to crew compensation and benefits.
Your role in the team
As a Crewing Manager, you will coordinate and supervise the salary calculations of the French crew and coordinate with French authorities related to crewing and monitor new national legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the payments and salary calculations of the French crew.
- Coordinate with French Authorities related to Crewing and monitor new national legislation.
- Coordinate with Labour Unions where/when required.
- Coordinate with French Maritime Academies to promote EXMAR LPG France as an attractive employer.
- Liaise with Accounting with the monthly semester and yearly closings.
- Advise, support and supervise the Ship manager & various manning agents.
- follow up and implement regulations regarding social security & withholding tax for the French Flag.
- Represent owner’s during CBA negotiations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in HR and/or (crew) payroll and/or crewing.
- Extensive knowledge of employment legislation, accounting, French legislation for mariners, software packages, Excel.
- Knowledge of the structure and internal (working) procedures of the organization and crew management.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and French.
